Choosing the Right PPF Package for Your Vehicle

Partial front, full front, or full body—what level of protection is right for you?

Paint protection film (PPF) has become one of the most effective ways to keep vehicles looking new. But when clients first explore PPF, the most common question we hear is: How much coverage do I really need?

At Urban Werks, we offer several levels of protection (from partial front installs to full-body wraps) because no two clients use their vehicles the same way. The right package depends on how you drive, where you drive, and how long you plan to keep the car.

Partial Front: Essential, Entry-Level Protection

A partial front PPF package typically covers the front bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, and mirror caps. This is the entry point for many clients who want to prevent chips in the areas most exposed to road debris.

It is an innovative solution for daily drivers or leased vehicles where the goal is to reduce visible wear without a full investment. While not as seamless as full-front coverage, it still makes a significant difference in protecting high-impact panels.

Full Front: The Most Popular Choice

Our most popular install is the complete front package. This includes the entire hood, full fenders, bumper, and mirror caps. By extending coverage across full panels rather than partial sections, the film becomes virtually invisible, providing seamless protection where it matters most.

Clients who choose this package typically keep their vehicles for the long term or drive performance models, such as Porsche 911s, BMW M cars, or Tesla Model Ys. It strikes a perfect balance between cost and coverage—making it the go-to choice for most of our installations.

Track Package: More Than Just for Track Cars

Despite its name, the Track Package is not only for performance enthusiasts. It is designed to add coverage to secondary high-impact zones like rocker panels, lower doors, and rear impact areas. These are the places where road debris, tar, and grit cause damage during both spirited driving and everyday commutes.

This package has become a favorite for daily drivers who want added peace of mind without committing to a full-body wrap. It is ideal for clients who spend time on highways, travel long distances, or simply want more complete protection where their cars need it most.

Whole Body: Maximum Protection for Maximum Peace of Mind

For exotic cars, collector vehicles, or clients who want absolute confidence, nothing compares to a full-body PPF wrap. Every painted panel is protected, meaning the vehicle is shielded from rock chips, scratches, staining, and UV damage across the entire exterior.

This option is popular among supercar owners and drivers who put significant mileage on their vehicles. It is also an excellent choice for matte or satin finishes, where paint correction is not an option in the event of damage. With full-body PPF, the finish is locked in from day one.
