From Cybertruck to Porsche: This Week at Urban Werks

a snapshot of this week

This week at Urban Werks brought in a wide range of vehicles, each in for a different level of protection, but all sharing the same goal: preserve the finish, enhance the appearance, and stay ahead of the elements. With temperatures nearing triple digits in Lancaster, surface protection has never been more relevant.

Cybertruck Returns for Dynamic PPF in a Fan-Favorite Finish

One of the standout projects was a Tesla Cybertruck, back in the studio for a full wrap using Inozetek Dynamic Paint Protection Film. This particular finish is a repeat color we worked with over a year ago; bold, glossy, and still as striking as ever. The Cybertruck’s design presents unique challenges, but our team’s prior experience with this material and vehicle allowed for a smooth, dialed-in install that conforms flawlessly to its angular surfaces.

Rivian R1T Protected with GYEON Q² Infinite

Also in the shop was a Rivian R1T, coated with GYEON Q² Infinite for long-term ceramic protection. This professional-grade coating provides over 5 years of chemical resistance, water resistance, and gloss retention. The owner uses the vehicle daily, so Infinite’s self-cleaning properties and UV protection make it an innovative, real-world solution.

Porsche 911s and BMW X5s Lock In PPF Before Summer Hits Full Swing.

Multiple Porsche 911s and BMW X5s received Full Front PPF, our most requested clear bra service. With road construction, tar, and high-speed debris increasing during the warmer months, clients are investing in protection now to avoid resprays later. We use precision-cut patterns for seamless application across bumpers, hoods, and fenders—essential for vehicles with parking sensors and complex bodywork.

Near-Triple-Digit Heat Drives Demand for Ceramic Tint

With the heat index climbing in Lancaster, ceramic tint installations have surged. We’ve been applying LLumar FormulaOne Pinnacle and Stratos series films to a range of daily drivers, helping clients cut glare, reduce interior temperatures, and add a finished look to their cars. In many cases, we’re also tinting windshields with IR film for full cabin coverage.

Summer Protection Starts Now

EVs, luxury SUVs, and everyday commuters all came through our bay this week—and they all left with elevated, functional protection. If you're thinking about investing in your vehicle’s appearance and long-term care, now’s the time to schedule your spot.
